Welcome to First United Methodist Church of Glendale!

We extend the hospitality of Christ and the hand of friendship to you.

This page is especially for visitors and those unfamiliar with our church. We are a welcoming congregation and hope to convey just a touch of that warmth here, in cyberspace. We have two worship services on Sunday morning: the Contemporary service at 9:15, and the Traditional service at 10:45. Childcare is available for both services. Our regular education hour is 9:15-10:15. We offer a variety of classes and studies of interest.

A class for those interested in more information about membership and/or ministries of the church is offered periodically. If you’re new to the faith, if you’ve been away for a while, or if you are interested in membership, speak with the pastor about when the next class will be held.

Confirmation classes are held on an as-needed basis, generally every other year. Contact Don Galleher (Director of Youth Ministries) for details.

You will find additional classes, seasonal studies, fellowship groups and activities during the week, in both morning and evening timeframes. Check our various program and ministries lists for details. You can also call our office for more information.

If you visit us in person on Sunday morning, please do stop by our Welcome Visitors table on the patio, after the 10:45 worship services. This is a place especially for our visitors and newcomers to find information, ask questions and just get acquainted—face-to-face and smile-to-smile.

We are located at 134 N. Kenwood Street, between Wilson and Broadway.

Limited parking is available in the church lot (off Wilson) and off the alley behind the church.

Street parking is also available on Wilson, Kenwood and Broadway.
